Built in 1892 by architect Ernest Sanson, the Irish Embassy in Paris is located in the historic Hôtel de Breteuil. The building was sold to the Irish Government in 1954 when the lease on the former Embassy on Rue Paul-Valery expired. This period property allows the showcasing of Irish business and cultural interests in a beautiful and prestigious setting.
In addition to the reception rooms the Chancery comprises offices for the Bilateral Embassy of Ireland to France and Ireland's Permanent Mission to the OECD and UNESCO; a Consulate for the provision of passport, visa and consular services; and it is also the home of the current Ambassador of Ireland to France, Ms Patricia O'Brien.
Equipment: - 
Coolair were retained to carry out the supply, installation and commissioning of Air Conditioning on Level 3 & 4 along with Emergency door and lighting works.
Level 3 & 4 Renovation Works consisted of a mix of office space, meeting rooms and accommodation units.
3 No Daikin Heat Pump VRV air conditioning systems were installed with a mixture of Floor Standing Cased and Wall Mounted indoor units. At all times, we as contractors had to be mindful of the cultural significance of the building and the aesthetics involved when working in a historic structure.
Project was completed to the high standards expected from the Department of Foreign Affairs, within budget and timeframe.
