SINTRA Mix-Ind Air Pulsion Technology

SINTRA Mix-Ind Air Pulsion Technology – Revolutionizing Air Distribution

SINTRA MIX-IND systems offer advanced air distribution solutions that outperform traditional systems, providing superior energy performance and enhanced comfort levels. With patented technologies such as PULSERS®TWIN™, and more, SINTRA sets a new benchmark for HVAC systems in commercial and industrial spaces.

PULSERS®: The Key to Innovative Air Pulsion

The PULSERS® technology is a cutting-edge air distribution solution that mixes input air with ambient air to create a controlled pressure field within ducts. This allows for efficient movement of air throughout the entire space, ensuring optimal air distribution and consistent temperature regulation. PULSERS® ducts are perforated with bespoke designs and come in two perforation sizes, increasing airflow efficiency.

TWIN™ Technology – Flexible Air Distribution

TWIN™ technology takes the functionality of PULSERS® a step further by using multiple parallel ducts to provide variable airflow. This ensures greater flexibility and energy savings, making it possible to tailor the system’s output to your building’s specific needs.

Key Features:

       – Primary pulsers® (functional pulsers®) maintain consistent airflow and temperature homogeneity within a ±1°C range.

      – Secondary pulsers® help introduce excess airflow without disrupting primary air distribution.

VARIBOOST® – Optimized Airflow When You Need It Most

The VARIBOOST® system boosts airflow dynamically, adjusting airflow levels in response to changes like loading bay openings or newly introduced materials. Special dampers intercept the secondary airflow to ensure the primary pulsers® continue to function effectively without compromising performance.

VARIAMIX® – Enhanced Performance Across Air Speeds

The VARIAMIX® system is a calculated perforated design that allows airflow variations between 70% and 100% without significantly affecting performance, ensuring consistent efficiency in air distribution.

HYGROCOOLING® – Efficient Humidification and Cooling

HYGROCOOLING® utilizes the micro-turbulent flux created by the PULSERS® to atomize water droplets, providing efficient humidification and adiabatic cooling for optimal comfort. This patented technology ensures the system can adapt to environmental changes, making it ideal for environments that require precise temperature and humidity control.

Compared to traditional Air Distributions Systems, MIX-IND systems offer the following significant advantages: -

  • Homogeneity of both vertical and horizontal temperatures (with +/- 1
  • oC, regardless of the building height);
  • Maximum comfort with optimal control of the residual speeds in the occupied zone;
  • Total de-stratification, especially for high buildings, even higher than 40m;
  • No return air ducts, therefore less pressure loss for the fans, less maintenance costs, less encumbrances and reduced cost of the ducts;
  • Total recovery of all endogenous heat produced in the local (engines, lighting, etc.);
  • Applicable both to high-rise and low-rise buildings, without any loss of performance;
  • Easy to bypass any potential major obstacles on the site;
  • Possibility to introduce air at low temperature directly into the room without discomfort or condensation problems;
  • Ability to perform long air throws, so less ducts to install, less weight on the structures, less encumbrances in the room and a lower total cost of ducts;
  • Possibility to significantly reduce the overall cost of the plant, using the free service of AIDED DESIGN with can eventually allow an optimization of the plant’s air flow, especially for medium and large volume buildings.
